The CNR of Pisa will host WoWMoM 2021, the conference for researchers and practitioners interested in all aspects of wireless, mobile, and multimedia pervasive communications.
The CNR of Pisa will host the 22nd IEEE International Symposium on a World of Wireless, Mobile and Multimedia Networks (WoWMoM), the conference for researchers and practitioners interested in all aspects of wireless, mobile, and multimedia pervasive communications.
IEEE WoWMoM 2021 will be held in Pisa on June 7-11 and it will be a four-day event with a technical programme including paper presentations, keynote speeches, hot-topic panel sessions, demonstrations, workshops, and a PhD forum. All papers (regular, workshops, demo, PhD forum) will be included and indexed in the IEEE Digital Library (IEEE Xplore), showing their affiliation with IEEE WoWMoM.
The participation modalities to the conference will be announced by the organizers in early April, based on the evolution of the COVID-19 pandemic. In any case, remote participation in the conference proceedings will be guaranteed.
The conference technical programme focuses on wireless networking technologies and their key role in future Internet scenarios. The symposium addresses the increasing wealth of opportunities for distributing multimedia contents over wireless networks, enabling dissemination of professional contents to mobile users as well as sharing user-generated contents among them.
IEEE WoWMoM 2021 will host six workshops and a PhD Forum, where students will be able to present their dissertation research, recently finished or still ongoing. For both sections it is still possible to send contributions until March 1, 2021.
The Institute of Informatics and Telematics, which organizes and hosts the event for this edition, is part of the organizing committee:
Marco Conti (Steering committee)
Raffaele Bruno (General co-chair)
Claudio Cicconetti (Program co-chair)
Andrea Passarella, Loreto Pescosolido (Techical Program Committee)
Federico Librino (Workshop organizer)
WoWMoM is promoted by IEEE Computer Society and Missouri University of Science and Technology, Platinum Industry Sponsor Cisco
