The Institute of Informatics and Telematics is located in the CNR Research Area of Pisa. The area is located on the immediate northern outskirts of the city and is well served by public transport, and reachable from the center with a walk of about 20 minutes.
The area can also be reached by car and has numerous free parking spaces available in the immediate vicinity.
Via freeway
It is advisable to take the Pisa Centro exit of the A12 Genova-Rosignano freeway. Once you have passed the toll booth, continue on the main road FI-PI-LI until the Pisa Nord-Est exit. From there follow the signs for CNR.
From the Central Rail Station
Take the green High Mobility Line (LAM) bus and get off at the “Volpi” stop. You can also use the Ciclopi bike sharing service, whose pick-up points are located right in front of the Central Rail Station and at the entrance to the CNR Research Area.
From the airport
Pisa Airport “G. Galilei” is located in the south of Pisa, and is 6 km from the CNR Research Area. To reach the CNR it is possible to take a taxi or use public transport, taking the Pisa Mover or using the local bus network.
