| Technological infrastructure for electronic medical files |
|
The project Infrastruttura del Fascicolo Sanitario elettronico (InFSE) is aimed at defining a framework for distributed management of health data (prescriptions, medical reports, patient summary, etc..) relating to the health of citizens, produced by various stakeholders of the National Health Service. The purpose of InFSE is to provide a technological infrastructure that enables citizens and the authorized health professionals, to access the health data, wherever they are located in the national territory, preserving the citizen privacy, and to facilitate the management of the evolution of the state of medical processes. The technological infrastructure of FSE should also be compatible and integrable with the solutions already developed by some regions, with a vision oriented towards a single model of national federated infrastructure aligned to the international scenario. In order to meet the requirements previously described, the InFSE architectural model must reflect a service-oriented architecture (SOA), which, in turn, must be placed above the technological infrastructure of the Public Connectivity System (Sistema Pubblico di Connettività, SPC) for application cooperation.
