14:20-15:20 Invited Talk: Trust Management in Context-Aware and Service-Oriented Architectures
Ricardo Neisse (Fraunhofer-Institute for Experimental Software Engineering, Germany)
Abstract: In service-oriented architectures, complex and across-domain business processes are dynamically composed from basic services, which are used as building blocks. In an open-service market, the dynamic re-assignment of service providers relies upon appropriate trust management requirements. In context-aware and service-oriented architectures, additional trust requirements are in place, because of the use of private sensitive information which is collected from sensors and information providers surrounding the end-users’ physical space. This talk briefly discusses the social and legal requirements concerning the use of contextual information, it describes the policy issues that challenge today's architecture design practice, and it surveys on trust and policy management solutions in supporting end-users and service consumers in a service-oriented scenario.
