Call For Papers

Papers offering novel research contributions in any aspect of trust, security and privacy in the field of ubiquitous computing are solicited for submission to the 1st International Workshop on Trust, Security and Privacy for Ubiquitous Computing (TSPUC 2005). Papers may present theory, applications or practical experiences on topics including, but not limited to:

  • key establishment and key distribution
  • access control models, policies and mechanisms
  • trust management
  • reputation management
  • privacy and identity management
  • digital assets management
  • context/location aware computation
  • self-organizing networks and communities
  • intrusion and anomaly detection
  • secure user-device interfaces
  • distributed consensus in the presence of active adversaries
  • analysis/simulation/validation techniques
  • handling emergent properties
  • phishing - attacks and countermeasures
  • case studies.

in the areas of mobile, ad hoc and sensor networks, peer to peer networks, and embedded/portable/wearable devices...

Papers Submission Deadline: January 7, 2005
Notification of acceptance: February 10, 2005
Final Version: March 8, 2005
Workshop : June 13, 2005, Taormina, Italy

Submission Guidelines:

Accepted papers will be presented at the workshop and published in the workshop proceedings, by IEEE CS Press. At least one author of each accepted paper is required to register with the conference and present the paper.
